Officer Stubbs began his career in law enforcement at Newton County Sheriff's Office in 2013 as a Detention Officer. After serving two years in the detention center, Officer Stubbs was sent to the Athens Police Academy where he attained his peace officer certification. Officer Rucker is a United States Marine Corps veteran, who started his law enforcement career with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office in January of 2015 as a detention officer. Officer Rucker was sent to the Augusta Technical College Police Academy shortly afterwards, and attained his peace officer certification in June of 2015. Officer Rucker served as a Patrol Deputy for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, and Putnam County Sheriff's Office until he joined the Madison Police Department in November of 2017. Officer Rucker is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
