Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Meeting Hall will be set up for a socially distanced meeting. Council members will be appropriately space as will attendees from the public. Only a limited number of people may be in the room. Masks are highly encouraged.
Citizens may also attend via live streaming the meeting (and view on demand afterward) by going to our Live Stream page. During public comment, those attending remotely may call (706) 707-8801. Please note, There is a 60 second delay when viewing the live streamed meeting. If the line is busy, call back.
Called Meetings & Work Sessions
The Mayor may convene the City Council whenever in his opinion the public business requires it. Three members of the City Council constitute a quorum. The City Clerk is responsible for providing requisite public notice.
